Join us June 20th at noon for a presentation on beneficial insects presented by retired forest entomologist and Honorary Master Gardener, Joe Pase. We will look at what is and what is not a beneficial insect. Key points of this talk will be identifying the different stages of beneficials and what we can do in our landscape to encourage them. This events is free to the public and no rsvp is required. Feel free to bring a sack lunch.

Pond Management Seminar

This will cover weed control, clearing muddy ponds, managing for water quality, and other common ponds management questions. 1 CEU. Held at the Angelina County Extension Office and starts at 6:30 pm to 8 pm. No fee.

State 4-H Horse Show

July 23-28, State 4-H Horse Show at the Brazos County Expo Center in Bryan, Tx. If you are competing in either a qualifying or non-qualifying event make sure you are signed up on 4-Honline by July 1st so that the County and District offices can get the entries approved! Do Not wait until the very last minute because there will not be time to fix any problems if you wait until the last day and there are no Late Entries !!!
