Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes (DWBW) is a 5-class series covering type 2 diabetes self-care management. Whether you are newly diagnosed and don’t know where to start, confused or discouraged with conflicting recommendations, simply need a refresher, or perhaps care for someone with diabetes – this program will provide the tools to manage blood sugar, enjoy your favorite foods (sensibly), and live a rich, healthy life despite diabetes.
Participants will get their questions answered by diabetes experts and professional educators and gain confidence in their ability to control their disease. The DWBW curriculum is consistent with the American Diabetes Association Standards of Care.
Classes will be held via Zoom on Thursdays April 8, April, 15, April 22, April 29, & May 6 at 10:00-11:00 am.
Thanks to grant funding, this program is FREE to participants.
Program offered by County Extension Agents in Angelina, Harrison, Rusk, & Shelby Counties.
